Rue plays a gig! 🇵🇭🎵

We hit the road yesterday to play for SD Filipino Cinema’s Magic Hour to open up their festival highlighting Filipino filmmakers for Filipino-American History Month. It was an honor to be a part of this (and even witness Maestro Michael Dadap playing the beautiful Philippine rondalla music I grew up dancing to).

From the long drive, an out of tune guitar, a gifted bottle of Tanduay rum and driving these drunks back to Los Angeles from San Diego until 5am in the morning, this was fun.

Also, so very cool to see friends being featured in this festival, so go check out my fellow band mate Kaitlyn Fae’s Fruit Fly playing in this program! And again, thank you to the kind people at SDFC for the opportunity.
