I meant to share this weeks ago when This Is Us ended, but I just now have a moment to share amongst all my travels.
This show has wrecked me in more ways than one. I grew up in a family of 3 with a single mom after my dad passed away at a young age #bigthree. I’ve always looked up to single moms with the purest of hearts and thickest of backbones that often get overlooked — because I resonate with that so much.
Mandy, you’ve been such a big inspiration for me from your inception in A Walk to Remember pastor’s daughter to This Is Us family matriarch. I am so honored to have been able to have your stories and music as a guiding light, and to have witnessed you in all the capacity I have #fangirl.
“The Train” episode absolutely wrecked me to tears. Someone give this girl an Emmy.
