Miley Cyrus – Landslide (Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac Cover)

I know I’m a little late with Miley and her Gypsy Heart Tour, but I can’t quite get over her rendition of this song.
First off, she mimics the wonderful Stevie in that beautiful flowing chiffon black dress, also putting her own modern spin to it showing a bit more skin. And, although it may be a bit of a mediocre cover from her–with the energy from the loud amphitheatre possibly messing with her ability to really delve into her song–it’s moments like these that make me appreciate Miley. Her country roots are undeniable and her take on this Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac classic is beautiful.

Also, I think I should mention that if there’s one song that can make me cry, it’s this one. It’s such a beautiful and simple song, and hearing Miley perform her take on this is refreshing. It’d just be wonderful to hear more stuff like this from her…
