The older you get, the more you know. The more you know, the smarter you are about the world and your place in it. It’s easy to become dissuaded about pursuing and doing the things you love–because you want money and security and you’re thinking about paying your bills and your rent and having a family.
But, music, writing, art has saved humanity. It is the only one real thing in this world.
When a song is able to make me feel good; when words are able to resonate; when someone makes me open my eyes to the world that exists outside of me.
“Believe in the people who believe in you,” a friend once said to me.
Stay young. Stay inspired. Feel your soul. Share your soul.
And always feel excited. For something.

Definitely something I need to remember as I graduate in the next 2 weeks.
Thank you for sharing this inspiring thoughts, Rach! I wish I could find what makes me excited to do, what I enjoy the most. I’m so clueless about what should I do with my life, it’s absurd and haven’t found out my truly passion. That’s an awful things and makes me depressed lately..
I feel like not everyone needs to know what their passion is, and it’s completely normal and natural for someone to not know what it is they’re passionate about. Sometimes, it’s hard to keep that passion alive, as well.
Here’s a good clip I saw a long time ago by Elizabeth Gilbert. She talks out against passion, and says to follow your curiosity–which I think is golden advice. Your curiosity can lead you to your passion; and if not, you’re living a beautiful life, altogether.
