Killing In The Name (Rage Against The Machine Cover)

From a global pandemic to nationwide unemployment and continued systemic racism occurring in our nation, it’s hard not feel hurt, disgusted, angry and emotional during these trying times.

Before the pandemic, Rage Against The Machine was set to embark on a reunion tour after a nine-year hiatus earlier this spring. And, what a more fitting time, because their woke songs against the government and oppression still stand true to this day.

Learned this one this morning. Decided to record it because it was just so damn fun to jam out to. I hope you enjoy!

Stay woke. Speak up. Listen. Learn. Educate yourselves. And mobilize.

#blacklivesmatter

With love and honesty,

Rachel

From a global pandemic to nationwide unemployment and continued systemic racism occurring in our nation, it’s hard to not feel hurt, disgusted, angry and emotional during these times. I woke up this morning and decided to learn this song by #RageAgainstTheMachine. And what a more fitting time, because their woke songs against the government and oppression still stand true to this day. I ended up recording it alongside some of my #BlackLivesMatter clips from local protests and being around the community. As the world as we know it continues to break down as we speak up and resist, I only hope we can wake up to a brave new world in which love rises above all. Stay woke. Speak up. Listen. Learn. Educate. And mobilize. As I will continue to do the same. Hope you enjoy. Full video and post on my blog and YouTube at rachelannc.com. ✊🏼
