Flashback to My Cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Tusk”

Here is my take on “Tusk,” the orchestra-filled jungle-rhythm classic song by one of my all-time favorite rock bands, Fleetwood Mac. This song definitely does not belong on the sole acoustic guitar, but it gets on my groove every time.

I recorded this almost two-years ago (Feb 19, 2013, to be exact) when I was able to record covers in my room almost every other day. This song would’ve been a lot cooler if I actually had other friends banging on instruments and stomping on the ground with me, but… I tried!

I hope you enjoyed all my fun noises, nonetheless (especially towards the end)… Maybe a new, updated version of this cover should be attempted soon?

So, any thoughts? Comments? Ponderings? Musings? Hate mail? All is accepted here! Let’s create conversation and bask in the joy that is music.

    • Hahaha. Oh my gosh. You’re a lifesaver. This is AWESOME. I’ve been meaning to re-record this because listening to how off-beat I get and even off-beat my layers get makes me cringe. Thanks for watching out, Kev. ❤

      • Re-record or not. Either way, all your these cover songs become your own and are great just because of that. Just let me know if you need me to ruin anymore of your favorite songs with bad bass lines 😛
