Moondough debuts his signature bedroom soul with “Run It Back” (Single Release)

Late last winter, my good friend Ken Ben Raymundo (prior known as Monroe) launched his newest musical project as Moondough. His signature bedroom soul, jazz and funk to candid lyrics that tend to be about cheeky love and heartbreak, is always played to funky jazz chords that make you can’t help but let out a smile as he sings to you about heartbreak.

I’m a little late to sharing this, but never late to show the love. Sad boy bedroom soul for us all.

Enjoy this release and support a good friend!

Don’t turn your back
Come on you’re better than that
As a matter of fact
We’re running this back
Until we find a way to face our pain
And Learn about it
Embrace the change
Then find yourself inside my brain
All my thoughts
Rearranged
Now I’m a little hopeless
My mind is losing focus
Since I’ve been thinking of you
It’s time you finally noticed
Now I’m the one in focus
Are you thinking of me?
(Probably not)
La da da da, da da da da…
If love don’t exist
Then there’s something I missed
‘Cause I gave it my all
Then you left me to fall
Fall in love with you
Fall in love
I’m still in love with you
Still in love
Now I’m a little hopeless
my mind is losing focus
Since I’ve been thinking of you
It’s time you finally noticed
Now I’m the one in focus
Are you thinking of me?
