One of my dear friends and fellow film students here at UC Irvine ventured to produce a short film for her Production class. As awkward and embarrassing as it was to watch this, I’m utterly in awe and impressed by her work! I feel very honored to have been able to work with her on this, and the special effects definitely took this to another level.

I’m sure she would love the support and your thoughts on her work. Feel free to send her some love here! https://vimeo.com/98232609 And again, I apologize for my terrible acting skills…

In a technology advanced world, people wear neck devices, called Syncers, in order to access the Alternet (an alternative reality interface network) and never log out. By refusing to wear his Syncer, Tim tries to reject this alternative reality, however going against the norm can bring problems. After discovering an unknown tracker file on Ana’s Syncer and its mind-manipulating properties, Tim and his best friend quickly look for answers.

Inspired by ACCEL WORLD (アクセル・ワールド).
