A Summer 2022 Slow-up

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it,” as cult-favorite Ferris Bueller wisely once said.

It’s time for a bit of a check-in.

I realize a big part of this all for me is to return to the things that once brought me joy — those that excited me, lit me up inside, and made me feel re-inspired and invigorated all over again.

I’ve found that it’s massively important to make time for yourself to fall back in love with the things that light you up — to nourish that plant, that seed — because just as easy as those feeling come, they can just as well be on their way and go.

“I hope we take a moment to celebrate all the things we do. Life can happen so fast.”

“Don’t let someone else’s limitations limit you. You’re called for more, and your journey is different. It’s not for them to understand. It’s for you to pursue.”
